Using the dashboard and adding transactions

What's on your dashboard

Once you select a cycle, the Overview tab shows your key numbers up top, then your account balances, credit cards, bills and debts on the left, your savings/investment goals below them, and a chronological activity feed of every transaction on the right.

Understanding "Free to allocate"

The headline number on your dashboard is what's left of your income after spending, savings, investments, and anything still pending — the money you haven't committed anywhere yet.

Adding a transaction

Use the + button in the bottom-right corner to add an expense or income. Fill in the amount, a name, a category, the date (must fall within the current cycle), and where the money is coming from or going to — a bank account or, for expenses, a credit card. The button is hidden once a cycle is closed, since closed cycles are read-only.

Editing and deleting

Tap any transaction in the activity feed or relevant panel to edit it — the same form reopens with its details filled in. To remove one, use the delete option on that transaction; if it was paid with a credit card, the card's balance is adjusted back automatically.
